I bought (water)dowsers rods for fun. I know sounds like bat shit crazy. Some water drilling companies still use people who can use dowsers. I practiced on them around my house. But wait…..I have public sewer water!!…..
Also do you have to get the water analyzed for impurities like mines wastewater??

I do not live in a country setting but city burbs like…..I could drill for water too I guess….but the cost are prohibitive to be disconnected fro the public water supply. Also there is a lot into getting the well water tested, drinkable etc no? Just the purifying system could be costly.

I have wanted to try it, but of course it's illegal to drill for water... but then I had this idea If I say it on line, WELL, then the secrets out but
my home is on a slab, what if I drilled through the slab and then used the auger inside, my city sits on a huge aquifer .. and I know we have a high water table because of the River... anyway, I imagine it wouldn't take too many pipe connections before I hit water.
Before I started in Tela Kom, no one ever mentioned everything in this industry is back ass-wards and is negative 48 volts. So I accidentally burned up a few pieces of equipment. Woops!
I swear (and I know ALL of the woids) that the Yahoody way is to make EVERYTHING confused. The signal to noise ratio is given in a measurement that might be 20 decibels, but then you have to know that the reference is NEGATIVE 31 dB to star with....
I started prepping too but it lasted about 6 months….then I begun thinking……wait a minute !!! All the prepped food can be taken from me by an asshole (or a group of assholes) who is branding a gun stolen from someone who was collecting weapons, who got stabbed at night.
I guess I will live eating lichens from rocks or “foraging”. Realistically I will possibly just eat whenever I find food and whatever I can get my hands on. Probably will die from scurvy or malnutrition. Knowing my luck, the starving will increase my life expectancy and give me more time in hell earth….during a time when and where being dead is just a good idea all around.

I have a cerealist question and I value your opinion so I’m asking.
Due to the placement of my home, I cannot put in a well that can be used instead of city water.
I can however put in a pump well farther out on my property for WTSHTF and have gotten one quote so far.
Is it even worth the money to do this?
Being in hell I know resistance is futile, BUTT, I have a hard time twiddling my thumbs doing nothing.

Is it a shallow water table or a deep one?
Is the location able to be protected against vandalism?
Is this only for emergencies? or can you use it for other applications?
If other uses then would you intend to have a submersible pump?
If you have an electric pump would it be city power or a solar panel?
If neither are you willing to pay <$1000 to $4000+ just for a hand-pump system?
(without installation charges if you don't do that kind of workk yourself).
Do you have a water filtration system for your current supply?
etc., etc., etc.,.....
The quote is for a 100’ drill down, for drinkable water.
No vandalism worries.
Emergency only but the cost is 10k because it’s a regular truck/machine bore well.
It can be used for other applications and we eventually would like to put a shop out on the property near the well.
So it could potentially be hooked up to that but not any time soon since the well will cost as much as a shop does.
At that time an electric pump with solar panel back up would be installed.
Currently we have a non salt springwell water filtration system for the city water into the house.
I keep going back and forth.
