There is a lot of good in the world with lots of loving people. I see it everyday, UNLESS I were to only watch main media where Prime Time would have you believe that 8 murders occur every 2 hours every night in your city, and we should all live in constant fear. Fearful people are easy to control and manipulate, as the "plandemic" proved.
now yer talkin... mmmmmm mmmmmm GOOD! I actually picked about 4 more pints today.. wish I could share them with you.. the squirrels and birds certainly are taking their fill!
I used to think that birds were pecking at my strawberries (I used straw mulch) but I would watch the birds land in the patch but they never touched the berries. I spent a long time observing the berries and the best ones (it's always the best ones) were being eaten by snails. I found that snails didn't like crawling on sand, so I got a bunch of sand delivered an put that in place of the straw and the snails quit having lunch.
I've never been able to grow blueberries. Back in the day I even treated the ground with that toxic aluminum sulfate (I didn't know better) with no suck cess.
What variety are you growing? because they look very large.
I dont even know.. I just bought a few bushes each year for about 5 years. Now they have rooted and spread. The ones in the side yard are 12 feet high. In my back yard ive trimmed them. But they are still about 6 ft. They produce more and more each year. I dont do anything but let the autumn leaves just rot.. Mulch the ground.. Like you tho. The rolly polly bugs take a bite from every dang strawberry... Hmmm . sand? Ill try it. My plums there must be 2000 or more. First year they are making it till purple.. But still they fall a Little to early. I noticed every one that falls has a tiny hole. A parasite. Ive got to get some pics of how many. And how many are falling. Strange.
I will send you photos of my blueberry bushes 12' tall
and my plum tree. I never did prune it, It's taller than my house now.
the dirt is clay. except for the top layers which are just the compost from autumn droppings over the years. it' a rich black dirt. I have no farming skills.
Great start to my day!
Same!
Spectacularly organic 🌳🌴🌲

Apparently this happened 7 years ago. Now everyone is traumatized and full of conspiracy theories......and beyond salvageble.
I m not a fan of saxomophone but this was fun to listen and watch.
Your saxomophone didn't fart the right pronouns!
Arrest those musicians!
I thoroughly enjoyed this.
It may have even brought a tear of joy to my eye. :) xx
It got me to wondering why I ever thought I could play music.
Blue berries anyone??? there are some good things around these parts.. I try and find them regularly!
I would like a bucket o' berries on some buckwheat flapjacks made spongy with too much maple syrup please!

I've never heard of bushes getting that big. What kind of soil do you have there?
Pill bugs may not be affected by the sand. I hate when animals take one bite out of everything then move on. It's just ridiculous.
THAT'S A LOT OF PLUMS!
Consider bagging them. These are the two guys that got me started and I do it every year.

that tiny hole could be the Plum Curculio. Lil' bastards will ruine an entire crop and Peach Tree Borers can destroy an entire tree.
You have to bag fruit BEFORE the weevils appear.
