I am not sure if I should cry because this post is actually really tragically true or laugh about your sinister humor how good times never end in hell fast forwarding the video to 2x.

Because my mind works that fast I like to superspeed them, but also, this stuff is painful so it decreases the amount of time spent in mental agony.

win/win.

I do my best to keep people laughing. I've been that way for a long time but it was brought home to me by some ex-cons that used it as a way of doing hard-time.

In his last interview before his death, Kurt Vonnegut told a story to Bill Moyers about how he and his uncle and cousins would sit under a big oak tree on a summer's day sipping tea. His uncle would say: "If this isn't livin' - I don't know what is."

Given my dark humor I converted that to when I would talk with Red Hens and we'd be cackling like maniacs, and I'd ask:

"Who has more fun than us - in Hell?"

Here in h-e-ll-0, I found that Jello might be the antidote for Sepsis!! Drug companies have patented gelatin as a drug for it. What else is new?

Lettuce know when you put out a Stack on it because it is very curious how they can patent the green slime they force on people in the hospital.

Gelatin is high in glycine. Oddly glycine is an antidote for glyphosate but it is also a food source for some cell wall deficiet organisms.

homeopathic med tries to mimic disease - maybe gelatin does that????

Agarose is a patented Rx for Endotoxins (agar is veggie gelatin)

I'm really pressed for time. Would you please look into gelatin and agarose having LECTINS?

it may be proteins that bind to the endotoxins to take them out of commission.

Abstract

Lectin-gradient agarose gel affinity electrophoresis was developed for identification of glycoforms of glycoproteins in lectin affinity electrophoresis. Gradation of lectin was done by stacking agarose gel blocks with increasing concentrations of lectin (discontinuous system) and by keeping the plate in a moist chamber at 4 degrees C overnight (continuous system) before electrophoresis. On the visualization of separated glycoform lines, the antibody-affinity blotting was superior for low concentrations of alpha-fetoprotein. Fluoresceine isothiocyanate (FITC) labeling of whole serum proteins, enzyme activity staining for alkaline phosphatase, and prestaining for lipoproteins were also applicable for visualization of proteins at higher concentrations. The conventional Western blotting can not be recommended because of the competition between lectin and glycoproteins in binding to nitrocellulose membrane. Lectin-gradient affinity electrophoresis also had a wide application for optimization of the condition of lectin affinity electrophoresis.

Thanks for hunting that down. I got rained out so I had a chance to look up agarose.

"Agarose is a highly purified polysaccharide that is isolated from agar, a gel-like substance found in red seaweed. It is a medium commonly used in molecular biology laboratories for various applications such as gel electrophoresis, DNA separation, and protein purification..."

Right there, it shows us that D -galactose and 3,6-anhydro- L -galactopyranose has no protein components to it so the lectins mentioned in your article were put there for the purpose of analysis.

"Agarose gel electrophoresis is a form of electrophoresis used for the separation of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA) fragments based on their size. Negatively charged DNA/RNA migrates through the pores of an agarose gel towards the positively charged end of the gel when an electrical..."

So the agarose is just a medium. That being said, it is still possible that the endotoxins can be bound up by the sugar. Have you ever heard of people using seaweed to detox? This could be similar to that because seaweeds are like the ocean's toxin sponges.

I thought you might like this Britannica Bool Sheet:

"Endotoxin, toxic substance bound to the bacterial cell wall and released when the bacterium ruptures or disintegrates. Endotoxins consist of lipopolysaccharide and lipoprotein complexes. The protein component determines its foreign (antigenic) nature; the polysaccharide component determines the antibody type that can react with the endotoxin molecule to produce an immune reaction. Endotoxins are rarely fatal, although they often cause fever."

Endotoxins are rarely fatal? Tell that to the Sepsis victims.

Who WRITES this shit? Who curates it?

Any whey... Lipo = fat, saccharide = sugar so endotoxin is KINDA like the agarose that is JUST a polysaccharide. The LPS is bound to the Fat Protein where together they make the poison. So what we have to determine (this is the advanced science) is that if there is an LPS/LP pair where the protein is presented on the surface, then the body can mount an immune response to it. This would be normal survelliance and cleanup unless it provoked a cytokine storm, but we saw from Geoff's work that it can also be a cytokine disabler...

Then we take this idea and bring it into the world of agarose to wonder if there was an LPS bristling with LP and you coated it with an nice Dairy Queen slime of agarose if it would effectly take out the immune reaction to the LP portion thus prevent either the endotoxin disabling cytokines or the immune system being provoked into an overt reaction = cytokine storm?

Dairy Queen soft serve is made from Agar from seaweed to make it flow.

Perhaps next time someone is having sepsis, an injection of some vanilla soft serve is in order?

Kinda kidding, kinda not.

Agar is used to ID endotoxin and to remove it with a ligand. This binder achieved 73 % endotoxin removal in rabbits. I was always leery of Diary Queens though as girlfriends.

do you know if they use specific ligands for specific proteins associated with each bacterial endotoxin?

It would be nice if they were generic, but life is never nice.

Was the binder injected into the rabbits?

I think I liked the Dairy Queen Onion Rings but it was so long ago I can't even remember where I put my car keys.

Agarose is more than a medium according to the study shown below, when combined with L-Lysine and hexamethylendiamine as a spacer, some 73% of endotoxins were cleared from the bodies of rabbits.

More will be reported in my forthcoming article. I have been delayed due to a food reaction that I had to have checked out at hospital. The hospital could not diagnose it but eliminated everything else (stroke, tumor, infection) so I finally figured it out.

By the way there IS an apparent endotoxin - oxalate connection.

Abstract: By using the agar beads as the support, L-lysine as the ligand, three

kinds of absorbents with different spacers for removal of endotoxin were prepared. The adsorption capacity of three adsorbents was compared. Among them,

Ag3, with L-lysine ligand and hexamethylendiamine as the spacer, was the best in

adsorption capacity and was selected for hemoperfusion on rabbits. The results

showed the level of endotoxin in endotoxemia rabbit after hemoperfusion was

near normal level. The clearance percentage of endotoxin was 73.6%

Thanks for doing the heavy lifting.

Amino Acid chelation with spacers probably to accomodate the docking of the larger endotoxin molecules.

Hemoperfusion is to take blood out of the body run it past a filtering substance to clear the bad stuff. Since spesis is rampant then this procedure should be as common as an I.V. bag in the ER for godssake.
