What is the connection between burning and radiation? When fire is on, is there automatically a radio active radiation present of some kind. Does it only depend on the scale or materia that is burnt?
If we faithfully repeat what we are told in school then fire is MECHANICAL DECOMPOSITION. No radiation implied unless you count infra-red. My view is that all of the foul isotopes that were in the air that the trees took in were stored in the trees then when the chinese burnt canada everything got coated. My outdoor readings went from 38 cpm on the leaves and apples of my trees to over 50 cpm just from smoke.
