There is no standard for Lyme gurus physician competence but most of the ones I have inquired about do genetic and surological screening for g6pd deficiency before administering methylene blue.

No doubt side effect risks but for those with air hunger so bad they can't walk to the mailbox it seems to give measurable benefit.

That's the first I've heard of anyone with a license doing the right thing.

My biggest concern is when people read about something on the internet and go out to try it on their own without the caution that should be posted with all mention of MB that it can cause damage or death.

What has to be done for those with air hunger is a rule-out diagnosis of B1 Beriberi, and a blood smear to see what parasites are in the red cells.

We're given to believe that MB works on the mitochondria energy transport, but I wonder if it has any claims on intracellular parasites in RBCs?

artermix's avatar

supposedly it would penetrate the RBC by eliminate certain intracellular parasites, example protozoa of Babeosis and Malaria. In theory they all sound really just right and so good.

Memo to self: in my next life in hell earth I want to be a scientist who comes up with theories approved by the ROYAL academy of the ass .

Does PURE methylene blue get into RBCs?

There is MB in water

Saturated solution of MB that is made of the powder DISSOLVED IN ETHANOL mixed with Potassium Hydroxide and then cut with Water.

Then there are Loefflers and New stains.

This is what you and I work so hard to correct in broken Science.

The use of the words "METHYLENE BLUE" WITHOUT that level of definition of just what the fuck people are talking about is absofuckinglootly useless.

So... for the saki of argument: You DON'T have G6PD defects that might harm or kill you taking MB because some guru said so, so you take MB.

But which of the 4 kinds?

of those 4 kinds what has the capacity to PENETRATE THE CELL? Because that is what the guy in the video said: The ALCOHOL is what facilitates it across the membrane.

But the scariest thing that should have been in my Stack is that it has an AFFINITY FOR DNA AND RNA.

THAT IS WHY IT STAINS THE NUCLEUS.

So, with all of this mental masturbation about how it improves the respiration cycle in the mitochondria (ALSO CONTAINING *ITS OWN* DNA) THERE IS NO TALK ABOUT WHAT MUTAGENESIS MIGHT OCCUR WHEN SELF-MEDICATING WITH THIS MAGICK ELIXIR.

I guess this will be a stack when we continue our No Cures talk !!!

Ahhh good old methylene blue......i have enough to dye 500 lb of clothes.

You and Wayne are why I posted this.

I had no justification for my hesitancy over the pronouncement that he forwarded on the gurus saying the MB can break up prions and other conveed nasties, but that is from decades of conditioning due to ignorance on a topic.

Having had (past tense) chemical allergies all of my life, I would NEVER attempt a therapy that I knew nothing about including nothing of the ADVERSE EFFECTS.

This is where the responsibility lies with those promoting this shit. If they didn't know of the G6PD defect, but they had credentials - THEN THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BEFORE OPENING THEIR TRAPS. If they did know then they are negligent.

I ALWAYS give both sides when I'm aware of them, regardless of what it makes the 'miracle' therapy to look like in the shadow of risk.

I try ALL of the reasonable therapies on myself to gauge good/bad/ugly so I can report the same after a test. This then begs the question if the gurus were promoting something they saw in vitro or if they dosed themselves with the Blue Goo?

I think you can open a boutique market for 'healthy' clothing.

Back in the day of tropical fish tanks meth blue was the go to for "ick'. It almost seems that ick may have jumped from fish to us. So, will industrial dye fix humans? I admit that my reading comprehension skills were unable to discern the Church Mechanic's take...

Expand full comment
Patrick Jordan's avatar

these are all excellent points to highlight.

My view is that the Pet Industry is part of the Millie Tarry complex to get exotic parasites into humans. Ick, flukes from snails, fungus, etc. will be in the air just from the aquarium being open to atmosphere and then I dont know ANYONE who wears elbow gloves to put their hands inside the swill. I did know a young lady who was trying to do something with a glass straw inside the tank with fish suffering from Ick and she sucked some water into her mouth and was never the same since.

The most important point here is that they claim that penicillin is the 'cure' for syphilis. Lida Mattman showed that antibiotics take the cell walls off of microbes making them indetectable to tests but still viable monsters. So instead of getting rid of syphilis it is now embedded in every manwomanchild on the planet aided and abetted by the use of antibiotics on plant crops and in animal crops to the point where you don't even need a prescription to keep the syphilis lesions from showing.

So did the MB 'fix' anything?

The outward signs might have gone away while embedding a cell wall deficient organism in both fish and man.

Since we lost a magnum opus on MB with Our Lady of Sardinia, the synopsis is:

DON'T EVEN MESS WITH IT!

"DON'T EVEN MESS WITH IT!" seems a pretty definite "No". I am not familiar with the magnum opus on Meth Blue with Our Lady of Sardinia but you make it seem apparent it was not good news.

Thanks Mr. Mechanic.

Thou art an accelerationist.

I defaulted to that because I didn't know if you wrote a run-on sentence and I should have called you an accelerationsit butt.

My apologies in advance for the lack of a comma-splice.

I used to that MB to KILL tree roots that were compromising my well housing & pushing in cinder blocks in my basement. People use it in their sewer systems to kill tree roots that have blocked pipes .... so I guess it could roto rooter veins? People also use it in swimming pools to kill algae ....

Gee, WHY wouldn't something that is meant to KILL biological matter, be GOOD to put in the human body??

As for the Recombumin® .. They peddle it as a longevity deal ...I'll pass.

I WISH I could give you details. This was like 20 years ago. I had a plumber come out for a NO water scenario in fridged February. Upon inspection, My well bladder bursted, my well house was cracked & roots were to blame. .. long story short, He turned me on to Meth Blue ... which I had to get ... Two 50lb bags & he dealt with it. I have no idea where it went OR how well it even worked.

I just know that he didn't put it IN my well AND he couldn't write it up on the receipt cuz he did it on the downlow,

The out come of my no water scenario was three fold... Busted well bladder, invasive roots & needing however many more feet of well dug.
