If i were a word-nerd I'd probably put it out there that the contestants mimick the style of other poets but Alas! I found Shakespear unreadable. Made me feel dumb because I know school kids who were forced to read him. But without historical context I can't imagine that any red-blooded, blue-blooded, or green-blooded american of any age could have a clue what Willy was on about.
Well, you show the family traits: high art that is indecipherable for us low-born, low-brow peasant types.
Yes, I could have looked up the references and used inferences and might have gone: What a clever boy!
But it really is good to have exposition by the artist showing the deep thought that was put into what might seem as casual references to those in the know. It makes it al the more homey and accessible, homey.
I am indeed familiar with the entire Jack Family.
Jack Shit, Jack Beanstalk, Jacked Up, etc.
I obsessively curry comb what I write. I guess I just like the stink, stank, stunk.
OMG PJ, this is fantastic! It’s an honor and a privilege to be included in hurdy gurdy wordy exercise.
My parents fought so much, a hurricane formed and swirled through the neighborhood. I dashed into my room to avoid the gloom, as the house uprooted and flew into the air.
(That’s all I got for now on this groggy Monday morning…a memory mixed with the Wizard of Oz)
My siblings fraught sow much, being tossed to-and-fro by the Winds of Change. The dashboard in our room revealed no more numbers past The Pin for the speed of the shape we were in.
“Press agents for the devil”… that really nails it hahaha. And yes at times it gets to be a drag as I’d rather poeticize about life’s beauty and goodness from time to time.
I've wondered what it would be like to not be able to string words together to make a coherent sentence, but then I've read people's comments on my Stacks and it's clear that I'm already there!
I knew that you would rise like the Kraken to the O.K. Szion.
I'm getting a hint of Shakespear.

They don't care if we sputter and spew
They dont care if floods drown up a few
They live safe in that bunker
Dance, drink and spelunker
They CHEER when we die, yes its true
We rise, some insist that we do
They say "we've got guns" but that view
Means little in fact
When 5G is a tact
Control is but a turn of the screw
This is what I was afraid of:
That the comments will be better than the Stack!
isn't that always the way?
great jam.
Thankyou kindly (curtseys)

It's on then.
No holds barred and no bars held.
Check out the comments we have a descendant of The Bard regaling us with his smithery and another fair lass who threw her vocabulary into the Ring.
I Love this idea!! Sounds like so much fun!
Ode to Muah ?? Thank You!
Stringing words together that make no sense
Brain cells almost firing, waiting for a spark ...
It may be a while ...I'm still in the dark........
Love your Hi Coo.
