I have a more fatalistic view on this movie called Final Destination. I am convinced that whatever the malevolence is, that it is so egotistical that it demands the right to kill us. Therefore it will use any means necessary to do so. So if someone were trying to kill themselves but it was not sanctioned by the Evil then their attempt would fail. Sometimes miserably with mutilation to punish the contestant for wanting to exit the game without permission. Only when it suits the Evil to eliminate the gamer from the lightening round will it facilitate the self-termination.
Although the idea of volunteering is a legal construct that makes SYLLOGISTIC sense only in that frame of reference, it is of course total bullshit in that we were all inducted into this shitshow by fraud which NULLIFIES ALL CONTRACTS and has no statute of limitation for punishment and since fraud often leads to death which also has no statute of limitations then there should be hordes of Judge Dredds taking care of the excess criminals.

I think this is where the work of Clint Richardson is so misunderstood.
He has deconstructed The Law down to it's syllables (whereas I dropped the whole thing like a dead baby on a gut wagon) and explains to people the situation we are caught in according to THEIR RULES. Because their system is just a Rube Goldberg Torture Chamber where they even make shit up as they go, his entire premise is: GET OUT OF THE SYSTEM.
That's problematic in that it entails creating your own alternative economies and cultures on a hostile planet that would use the Ritually Pure slaughter technique of drones to eliminate any competition just as soon as look at you through the remote viewing lens.
So whereas you are technically 'volunteering' into a lethal system while still participating even if that participation was constructed by fraud, the alternative is to become figuratively naked on a hostile planet with cannibal aliens.
It's kinda like being shunned by the Amish where you have nowhere to go because everyone is Amish now.

It seems to me that there is some clause in this construct that demands we must VOLUNTEER to
