I’ve been part of controlled burns of dry prairie grass out on the farm. It burns hot and FAST and by the time it traverses the field what WAS BURNT is out and barely smoldering while the rest follows the front of the burn. If there were a vehicle parked at the front of such a fire then it would have to ignite any flammables in that vehicle as it passed underneath in the time it took to pass beneath. Possible? Yes. Every time in every situation? ???
