I know someone whose parent owns a home in NY and one in CT. The insurance company has refused the claim on each house (one is fire, the other is water). Lawyers are now involved.

Here in CA, due to the claimed "wildfires", the insurance companies will not provide fire insurance. This means that a buyer must get insurance for everything else and a policy with the state of California specifically for fire. The costs are high.

Have you heard of a few people who are investigating some fires and are stating that the fires are plasma fires?

This homeowner needs better legal advice. He needs to find an eminent domain attorney to file an inverse condemnation lawsuit against the water district.
