I have been waging almost 40 years of war against grass and have encouraged a multitude of species of wildflowers and ground covers (Creeping Charlie, Hawkweed, Wild Thyme, Field Strawberries, Yarrow, St. John's Wort, Pinks, Ajuga, Self Heal, Toad Flax, Birdseye Speedwell, mosses, etc.) Consequently, mowing has been reduced to about once a month. The bees and butterflies appreciate it.

They are still all out of their homes (paying rent and a mortgage at the same time) and still being abused by HOA of said building. 18 months later…..and a shitload of money spent to fix the apartment building complex from a fire started in the basement…….through this time the HOA came up with the most ridiculous request in regard to the fixing of the place.
I am not going to go in details because I do not want to bore all of you with this long list. The thing that was of my surprise is that…..HOA hired an outside administrator to manage the HOA and this individual/individuals never had a formal meeting with the 80 owners of the appartments in the building complex. Everything is done via e-mail and with dead lines.
Why would anyone even accept these terms in the first place??
Now…..18 months after the fire and minor fixing (painting and replacing carpet) in the hall ways…..the families can go back to their apartments and start working there. But wait!! The sewer pipes are clogged because nobody was living there for so long…..so really there is no money and insurance co…..is not providing any because it was all individual insurances afterall. The HOA administrator has asked everyone to take up a 200K loan (like in a group ) to fix the toilet sewer pipes (estimated cost).
These request come with short dead lines too……via email….only and in this fashion. Unreal or what?
Is it really the HOA or the people who must enjoy the fucking in the ass?? Pardon my french…..
