I’m hugely fully of grate to Sha Lee of PsyOp for Awareness, podcaster extraordinaire at https://www.spreaker.com/show/guber-mente-2020
for pushing me into getting on SubStack because this is the format where I can share everything with everybody, not have to be a middleman re-tweaker, and anyone can join in the unfestivities.
Our Hen Jeannettically Modified has been relentlessly trying to deconstruct what passes for reality in the comment sections of most of my stacks but her most recent comment under That Ain’t Smoke prompted me to post this.
This is a hyperviolent movie that I rate at the top of the list well above The Island with Scarlett Johanson, Ewan McGregor, and Djimon Hounsou, that itself rates above The Matrix. At time signature 34:00 to 40:00 there is a monologue from Worth that pretty much sums up the absolute and abject futility of what we call Life.
I didn’t know that Canadian film makers had this much art and philosophy in them.
If you want to skip the violence and the plot then jump to the speech. If you want the full impact of a movie that I rate #1 then watch the entire thing. Rather than spoilers in a stack we can discuss the movie in the comments where I will share the fine points that I think they were trying to make with this.
Cube 2: Hyper Cube is also a very good flick. Not the same caliber as this film but it has some really poignant moments. Both of these used to be free in the US but now only Cube is running for free. Sorry if it says: Not Available In Your Country. I don’t suggest that people pay to watch movies so just wait for #2 to come around. Cube 3 was interesting and made some pseudo-religious points but doesn’t hold a candle to these first two films.

Go to the 2:20 mark and listen carefully as her speech is incredibly fast. This series was released in 2005.

I REALLY didn't get the deepness of the series til I watched this.
It's helped me A LOT
