Someone just told me about the invasion of the Hammerhead Worms and I said: WHUT?
I had never heard of them before. Y’all know that I can pull diverse facts out of my ass longer than a cat’s furball, so if the damned thing ‘invaded’ the US in the 1980s I would have put them in my scifi books.
Scifi? you say.
”Invasive hammerhead flatworms have distinctive curved heads, striped bodies ranging in color from light yellow to dark brown, and they can secrete tetrodotoxin — a neurotoxin found in puffer fish and blue-ringed octopuses. Some species are no more than an inch (2.5 centimeters) long, but others measure up to 15 inches (38 centimeters) in length.
If you chop them into bits, each part will regenerate into a complete worm.”
Good God! the things put off the poison they had in the darts to knock out the T-Rexes in Your Ass Sick Park. How is that not a DARPA creation gone mad?
Whether we are in a SIM or if this could possibly be ‘real-life’ the upgrades to the degredation is happening at a speed at which that we simply can’t keep up with. They put out software upgrades to microbes faster than Billy Goat can make malware updates to what is being passed off as operating systems.
But then when you use CRISPR in the biological world there are so many downstream mutations that it becomes a perpetual motion mess of then trying to ‘correct’ the damage done so that it creates NEW problems that need to be corrected unless there is Sudden Adultery Death Sin Drome attached to each ‘upgrade’ attempt, but then the Georgia Guidestones are being satisfied every day and in real-time especially in Maui. So: WIN/WIN for the Bad Guys.
yet we cannot help us (humanity) to spontaneously regenerate a bad heart muscle, or kidney tissue that aint filtering any longer….or teeth…..no to mention good old arthritis…or fucked up cartilage of knees from playing basketball…..did I mention they cannot even help with a mild tennis elbow, a bad rotator cuff (did I spell it right?)…..or our old faithful friend Mr. herpes, always sticking around waiting for you to have a nice bowl of romaine lettuce, and a slice of cheescake.
In few words to wrap it up…..I hope I will be reicarnated in a hammer head worm, or a spirochete so to freely torture the offsprings of those who have created this monstruosities.
My neighbor is a retired biologist 47 years worked for a lot of places she talks about and a lot of places she won't. She said herbs are capable of maintaining control over most bacteria but when it comes to the parasites today it requires multiple prescription antiparasitics, that the herbs are no longer strong enough to handle the modified present day species. Another problem is many of the parasites are actually in the body cavities so it's extremely difficult to get killing agents to them.
