For those of you who followed the Wizzer of Odd, the Ruby Slippers were orginally Silver Slippers in Baum’s book about economic extortion.

The Silver Shoes (also called Silver Slippers) are fictional charmed items from the magical Land of Oz. Their first and only appearance is in L. Frank Baum's first Oz book titled The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, published in 1900. Despite this fact and due to the popularity, the classic MGM musical movie of 1939 The Wizard of Oz, has achieved, most people believe the shoes Dorothy wears on her Oz adventure are of ruby red.
A perfect example of what the magic shoes would have looked like if MGM kept them silver and had not changed them to ruby in 1939.
Interestingly, in Baum's book the shoes are in fact not red at all, but made of out of silver and are designed in an arabian/dutch style with sharp pointy toes and Mary Jane style buckles.
The only thing the Ruby Slippers and the silver shoes both have in common is that in both versions they first were the property of Oz's infamous Wicked Witch of the East, and their magic can only work by clicking the heels together exactly three times in a row. How the Wicked Witch created or obtained them in the first place was never elaborated upon by Baum.
The Silver Shoes of Oz
In the book, even though the shoes are described as if constructed of real solid silver, due to being magic shoes in a magic realm, they are flexible, comfortable, and easy to move in. They can never wear out and are accustomed to alter their size by shrinking or stretching to perfectly fit the current owner at the time they wear them.
For those of you who follow my work, I had always been wondering why the value of silver had been suppressed for DECADES. I postulated in public (wearing a bib at the time) that since silver is used in Phase Conjugate Mirrors in Time Reversal experiments, that there was defintely a Black Magicks component to it, however that would imply jacking UP the price so that commoners could not have at the alkymykal metal (unless the dissemination of it throughout the population is part of that spellwork…???).
There had always been something bugging me about CONTINUOUS PRICE MANIPULATION with NO EXPLANATION —- until now…
In the semi-conductor industry we used gallium-arsenide and aluminum, or gallium-arsenide and gold. I was always surprised because some sources say that silver is a better conductor that bacteria-shit (gold).
How poetic: the thing that was used as an economic we upons is used to make phyical ones.
I had no idea and for some reason I never projected that Silver would be Precious to the We Upons makers.
I’ve posted many times in many formats that my view is that they create a frenzy over both alkymykal stocks so that people will fund then production and stockpile them, then soon it will be declare ILL Eagle and everything everyone collected from the raped-ground will be put back into the Cough Hers of His Mage Assy The Kink.
I felt a sense of closure to my long-standing hunch that there was more to the Silver story than I could devine/divine/de-vine.
A lot of Silver in this movie : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lone_Ranger_(2013_film)

Another question, where in the hell are THey going to get the amount of silver required just for the solar industry? I too, have wondered for decades about silver and the silver price. Today, I look at gold and wonder how in the hell can platinum and palladium be priced below gold? Platinum is considered to be a "royal" metal. Palladium is a RARE priecious metal, supposedly 30 times rarer than gold....go figure. Industrial use seems to be playing a major role in the price manipulation.
